a remembrance

As I prepared to go to bed last night I was very aware that I would be waking on the anniversary of 9/11. It is shameful that the current administration has so distorted and politicized the meaning of that date, so that simple, somber remembrance is almost impossible - except in the quiet of our hearts. Thinking most especially of Hellboy Tom who lost so many friends that day seven years ago. I have dug out my Hellboys CD and am listening to 'Missed the Train' - at top volume!
