OK, the other day I saw one of these babies scurry across the backyard. I thought, 'how cute!' Well, last night, his clan moved into the backyard and did their weird chittering noises until nearly dawn. That apple tree they are muNching on is the one that I park my car under. Mama Racoon is pretty mean (I encountered her this morning when I found their hiding place.) so I will need to take care when I enter and leave my car. At least I may have discovered who has been tromping on my watermelon plants!
