a morning guitar lesson. simple and straightforward - and helpful. near the end of the lesson, CG asked me to listen to the difference between C D E F G A B C and G A B C D E F G and what the flat seventh did in the second series of notes. I could
hear what it did as I listened, but had no memory for that quality.

off to the dayjob. the day had a dark cloud hanging over it as MrB had sent an email early in the morning, shocked and dissapointed that we had approved (and even expedited ) a translation job for a product going to market in the next month. though the instructions for the manual for this product explicitly states that it is to be available in all languages, MrB has decided he doesn't want to spend the money. the translation is nearly done, slated for delivery on Tuesday.
my colleagues and i carefully crafted an email to MrB explaining the situation.
this evening a reply from Mr. B arrives. he is insisting he does
not want the translations done. this is his decision even after being informed that the job is nearly done.
